Working in the yard, fishing, bicycling, motor cycle riding, pleasure driving and – yes, shopping – were a few of the ways residents spent their sunny spring Saturday in Kansas.

A Dillons grocery store worker gathered carts Saturday afternoon at the Leavenworth, KS location.

Walmart was busy with Saturday shoppers who were helped inside a single entrance and greeted with a sign reminding them of social distancing at the Leavenworth, KS store. A worker organized and disinfected carts.

Children enjoyed some supervised fishing off a dock over a pond Saturday in Wyandotte County.

Outdoor activities were abundant Saturday afternoon in areas of Wyandotte and Leavenworth County, KS.

A couple worked together Saturday in Wyandotte County to put together raised garden beds.

A popular outdoor spot Saturday was Wyandotte County Lake Park, a 1500 acre park with fishing and outdoor hiking and bicycling. Playground are presently closed.
