Sleep Out Fundraiser June 23 – Fourth & Chestnut, Leavenworth, KS

Sister Vickie Perkins, left, and Linda Martin, held a housing blessing in May, 2022, for the first Leavenworth Attainable Housing property at 4th and Miami in Leavenworth. About 30 people attended the event dedicating the house, bequeathed to the homeless shelter, Leavenworth Community of Hope, by long time donor and veteran Ron Williams, who passed away in 2020. Leavenworth Community of Hope donated the house to LAH, which renovated the home and is now renting it within the LAH project to a woman and her disabled child. Photo by Peggy Bair/HeartKC ©2022
